Extracorporeal Life Support

Extracorporeal Life Support (ECLS; Extracorpor Life Support; ISSN: 2616-4205) is an open access, peer reviewed journal, whose main focus is the publication of articles related to extracorporeal life support and respiratory failure, as well as its use in extra-cardiopulmonary organ failures. The ECLS journal will be looking for the most up-to-date and impactful information and knowledge in extracorporeal life support, running the gamut from physiological to epidemiological studies, and including such topics as extracorporeal cardiopulmonary resuscitation, donor organ optimization, and advances in perfusion technology, among other novel and emerging areas. The mission of ECLS is to provide a platform for the rapid exchange of information between clinicians and investigators worldwide. ECLS publishes mostly original research articles and review articles, however other article types are also welcome. Submissions will undergo an electronic peer review process, facilitating rapid turnaround from submission to publication. Articles accepted for publication will be available online soon after acceptance.
